Investing in green energy

Elmas, domestic manufacturer of lifting equipment, recently completed the investment in the retrofitting of its own production premises in Brasov.

To provide the electricity needed for the production process, photovoltaic panels were installed on the roof of the hall with a surface area of 5000 sq.m, producing 300 kW / hour. The investment in green energy production for its own consumption amounted to 650,000 euros. Much of the energy produced by photovoltaic panels supply 16 turbines that filter air continuously, heat or cool it to ensure a healthy climate inside the production hall.

The building was recently entered into Energy Efficiency Class A.
