The first long-term elevator rental in Brașov

ELMAS, a company headquartered in Brașov and leader in the field of lifting equipment in Romania, has launched its own rental service for elevators, relying on the premium quality of its products, a core prerequisite for a safe and efficient operation.

The first rental elevator for the vertical transport of passengers was delivered and installed recently in Brașov, in an apartment building completed before 1990. ELMAS Brașov is thus expanding its range of services in the field of elevators and offers its Romanian clients, along with different options for modernising existing elevators, a reliable alternative for long-term purchase or even lease of an elevator.

The long-term rental contract for elevators intended for apartment buildings will be concluded with the Owners’ Association, as a legal person. The contract will establish, on the one hand, the conditions for the installation/disassembly/authorization/maintenance of elevators and, on the other hand, the monthly costs for users associated with leasing the equipment, which also include full-service for a minimum period of 5 years. The beneficiary will ensure the electricity necessary for the proper operation of the elevator throughout the leasing period. At the end of the leasing period set in the contract, there is the option to purchase the elevator at a residual value or extend the leasing contract. 

The ELMAS elevators available for rent have a design lifetime of 25 years and are equipped with cutting-edge technology: SED.ro remote monitoring, landing buttons and printed glass touchless car (optional access with TAG cards), car walls made of UV printed glass with custom graphics, LED lighting, motor and inverter operated system that combines energy efficiency with environment protection, premium automatic doors, selective collective operation in both directions, video surveillance inside the car, direct communication between the car and ELMAS’ CALL CENTER, elevator car function to travel to the nearest landing and open the doors for the evacuation of the passengers, in case of a power outage.
